“Wegweiser” is an innovative prevention program of the Ministry of the Interior of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia against extremist Salafism. The program is aimed at young people and young adults who are at risk of slipping into the scene, as well as at relatives, schools, municipal offices and organizations.
It advises and accompanies primarily those affected (adolescents and young adults) and those affected secondarily (e.g. parents, relatives, friends, teachers and other caregivers). “Wegweiser” is also the contact for schools, youth welfare institutions, associations and works with advice centers, integration specialist offices and facilities, city offices, mosque communities, Muslim associations, migrant self-organizations, sports clubs, charities and the police.
“Wegweiser” wants to prevent the entry of predominantly young people into extremist Salafism or religiously based radicalization. At the same time, religious beliefs are respected.
Kurze allgemeine Beschreibung: „Wegweiser“ ist ein innovatives Präventionsprogramm des Ministeriums des Innern des Landes NRW gegen extremistischen Salafismus. Das Programm wendet sich an Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene, die in die Szene abzurutschen drohen, sowie an Angehörige, Schulen, kommunale Ämter und Organisationen.
Es berät und begleitet primär Betroffene (Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene) sowie sekundär Betroffene (z. B. Eltern, Angehörige, Freunde, Lehrkräfte und andere Bezugspersonen). „Wegweiser“ ist außerdem Ansprechpartner für Schulen, Jugendhilfeeinrichtungen, Vereine und arbeitet mit Beratungsstellen, Integrationsfachstellen und -einrichtungen, städtischen Stellen, Moscheegemeinden, muslimischen Vereinen, Migrantenselbstorganisationen, Sportvereinen, Wohlfahrtsverbänden und Polizei zusammen.
„Wegweiser“ will den Einstieg vorwiegend junger Menschen in den extremistischen Salafismus bzw. religiös begründete Radikalisierung verhindern. Gleichzeitig werden religiöse Überzeugungen respektiert. Wir bieten eine geschützte und vertrauensvolle Beratung an.
