Kommon Ground

Kommon Ground now offers free education to support teachers and educators and students, focusing on anti-democratic propaganda and its message in connection with radicalization and violent extremism. We see more detail on how young people respond to “fake-news” and how they operate in their own eco-chambers and how they get their information online through filter bubbles. This Project will be offered in 8 Skåne municipalities during 2019/20. During 2019-2020, they offer a free education consisting of lectures and workshops for teachers, educators and students in both municipal and private schools (eg high school, upper secondary and adult education) where the overall goal is to strengthen and safeguard democracy in Sweden. against anti-democratic behaviors, but also to counteract that young people in the target group end up in destructive radical environments and do not have the right tools to be source-critical when it comes to critically examining and receiving extremist propaganda and messages.

Kort allmän beskrivning: Kommon Ground vill verka för att bygga en bättre värld där ungdomar kan känna sig inkluderade i samhället. Vi vill hjälpa unga att få en röst och plattformar för att höras, påverka och bidra med sin energi och skaparkraft till samhället. Föreningen skall tillsammans med aktörer från civilsamhället, offentliga partners och privata aktörer arbeta för att skapa bättre integration i det svenska samhället. Jämställdhet och mångfald är viktiga frågor för oss och genomsyrar alla våra ungdomsaktiviteter.
