The word Bidaya comes from Arabic and stands for “(new) beginning” or “beginning”. The Bidaya agency offers people in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania who are at risk of religious radicalization or who are already in the process of radicalization, the necessary support for a new start. In this regard, Bidaya offers:
– Support in distancing oneself from the religiously based extremist scene
– Accompanying the exit from the religiously based extremist context, and
– Support during the process of deradicalization
Kurze allgemeine Beschreibung: Das Wort Bidaya stammt aus dem Arabischen und steht für „(Neu-)Anfang“ oder „Beginn“. Diese Bedeutung ist sinngebend für unsere Arbeit. Die landesweit agierende Fachstelle Bidaya bietet Menschen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, welche von religiös begründeter Radikalisierung bedroht sind oder sich bereits im Radikalisierungsprozess befinden, die nötige Unterstützung für einen Neuanfang.
Die Fachstelle Bidaya bietet in diesem Kontext ein spezialisiertes Angebot an:
– Unterstützung bei der Distanzierung von der religiös begründet extremistischen Szene,
– Begleitung beim Ausstieg aus der religiös begründet extremistischen Zusammenhängen,
– Begleitung während des Prozess der Deradikalisierung.
