The Centre for Help and Support for Anyone Concerned by Extremism and Violent Radicalism (CAPREV),was established to support young people and adults who have been radicalized. CAPREV draws on experts across several fields, focusing on disengagement and reintegration. This also includes measures requiring front line professionals such as teachers and social workers who report to the government any person they suspect of radicalization. Caprev has a preventive and non-repressive role: except in cases of force majeure, there is, a priori, no communication with the judicial and police authorities in order to guarantee the fragile bond of trust woven between the participants. A call to the center can lead to a collective intervention, listening or specialized support. The aim is not to de-radicalize them but to encourage them to renounce violence.
